Rock Middle Spreads Kindness

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018, the Sixth Grade Chorus & The 3 O'Clockers of Rockingham Middle School gave a special presentation to those in the audience.
"Kindness Matters," was the theme of the evening as the young singers graced the stage in their bright teal shirts. After opening with Wooly Bully by Sam Samudio, an array of songs such as, Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield, Nowhere Man by Lennon & McCartney, and the classic, Lean On Me by Bill Withers, had the crowd swaying as they listened.
The 3 O'Clockers finished the evening with You Will Be Found, a song well known for its touching lyrics in the original Broadway production, Dear Evan Hansen.
Choral Director, Lauren Lutz has been working with the students to help spread the word about the importance of being kind and finding their voice. Lutz has also emphasized the use of voices as a means to inform others about the Kindness Matters project, an anti-bullying initiative at Rockingham Middle School.
