After receiving feedback from various retail outlets and concerned parents, the Richmond County School Board has decided to allow navy bottoms for the 2017-2018 School Year. 

According to some parents, eliminating navy would create a hardship and an additional year would allow them time to phase navy out of their children’s wardrobes.  Businesses echoed having an extra year would help them as well because fall clothing had already been ordered.  

All other changes to the Uniform Policy  will take effect this Fall. 

Beginning with the 2018-2019 School Year, all bottom garments must be khaki or black in color.
