The Chromebook

A Chromebook is a personal laptop that runs on Chrome OS.  The device are designed to be used while connected to the internet much like netbooks. However, users can install apps that can be used both online and off.   Google provides a safe and secure way to access education apps and store student data.  When data is stored in the cloud, data is accessible anywhere a student signs in their account. Chromebooks are low cost and are easy to maintain.  Many companies offer models that are specifically designed for education. Chromebooks have extended battery life.  They are considered instant on machines with boot times under 10 seconds.
