With the help of a grant, Kate Finley Auditorium is being renovated for the first time in its history. As part of the project, a limited number of original auditorium seat rows are now available for purchase through GovDeals.

The seats have been part of decades of school history through the building’s years as Rockingham High School, Rockingham Junior High School, and Rockingham Middle School. Generations of students, staff, families, and community members have sat in the auditorium for performances, assemblies, ceremonies, and special events.

The renovation project will modernize the auditorium while preserving the history and tradition connected to the space. The original seating is being removed as part of the renovation, creating a unique opportunity for community members to own a piece of Rockingham Rocket history. 🚀
