Richmond County Schools Kindergarten Registration events for the 2026-2027 school year. Children must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2026 to begin kindergarten next school year.

During registration, families will have the opportunity to meet teachers and staff, learn more about daily routines and expectations, and ask questions about the transition into kindergarten. Parents and families should bring all required documents needed to complete the registration process.
