End-of-Year Testing Tips

As end-of-year testing quickly approaches, below are a few reminders and tips to help students feel prepared and ready to do their best during testing season.

No Electronics During Testing
Students cannot have access to personal electronic devices during testing sessions. This includes cell phones, smart watches, earbuds, smart glasses, prescription smart glasses, and similar devices. Please help remind students to keep these items out of testing spaces.

Get Plenty of Sleep
A good night’s sleep can help students stay focused, alert, and prepared throughout the testing day. Consistent sleep routines are especially important during testing season.

Arrive to School on Time
Being on time helps students begin the day calmly and avoid the added stress of arriving after testing has started.

Eat Breakfast
Starting the day with breakfast can help students stay focused and energized during testing sessions.

Encourage Students to Do Their Best
Testing can create stress for some students. Encouragement and positive reminders at home can help students feel more confident and prepared as they show what they have learned throughout the school year.
