Say Something Anonymous Reporting
Richmond County Schools is committed to the safety and well-being of our students and staff. We have partnered with Sandy Hook Promise, a national nonprofit, to implement the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SS-ARS). This system allows students and adults in our community to securely and anonymously submit safety concerns.
The Say Something Anonymous Reporting System enables school administrators and law enforcement to create effective interventions and help prevent violence, suicide, bullying, self-harm, and other forms of threatening behavior. Designed specifically for students in grades 6-12, SS-ARS offers three reporting platforms: a mobile app, a website, and a 24/7 phone hotline.
When credible tips are received, the crisis center promptly notifies school-based representatives. In cases of an imminent threat, the crisis center will contact local 911 dispatch to involve law enforcement immediately.
