Education Foundation
The Richmond County Education Foundation is dedicated to strengthening and supporting our local public education system by addressing academic needs as they emerge. The foundation works to ensure that both students and educators have access to the necessary resources for success, whether through scholarships, funding, or other critical support.
One key initiative of the foundation is the Grow Your Own Scholarship, which awards scholarships to high school seniors planning careers in
education. The goal is to encourage these students to return to Richmond County Schools as teachers. This year, two seniors from Richmond Senior High School received these scholarships, both aspiring to become educators.
Join us for an exciting and challenging competition at Dewitt's Shooting Sports on Friday, April 4, 2025. Participants will test their skills across 14 expertly designed shooting stations, providing a fun yet competitive experience for all. The event also features a flurry shoot-out, adding an extra layer of adrenaline to the day. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this event offers a great time while supporting a worthy cause.
