Board of Education
The Richmond County Board of Education consists of seven members who are elected at-large. Each member serves a staggered four-year term. The Board of Education is responsible for setting policies and making decisions that shape the educational direction of Richmond County Schools. Their duties include overseeing the budget, curriculum, school policies, and district goals to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education. The board works collaboratively with the superintendent, district administrators, school leaders, teachers, and the community to support and enhance the educational environment for all students in the district.
