RCS Achievement Award

The Richmond County Schools Student Achievement Award is given by the school district to recognize students for achievement in academics, attendance, behavior, leadership and service.

Students who meet the criteria for the Achievement Award will be recognized at the end of the 5th six weeks. They will be honored at a reception that will be held at one of our schools. The students must maintain a cumulative average of a B or higher, and must also meet attendance and behavioral requirements, which will be shared with them.

Individual student certificates, signed by the Superintendent and the Chairman of the Richmond County Board of Education, will be issued to schools to distribute to student winners. All students who receive the award will have their names featured in the program.
