Our Mission
Welcome to the Richmond County Schools Child Nutrition Services web page. We are committed to the children and staff of this county to ensure that the meals we prepare are healthy, nutritious and appetizing. We plan to “seize the day” to help combat the every growing rate of childhood obesity in North Carolina Schools. We believe that hungry children cannot learn and neither can unhealthy students who are constantly fighting health issues such as diabetes, and hypertension that is caused by unhealthy eating habits.Our goal is to graduate healthy, happy, and well educated students in the 21st century.
