Is your child going to 6th grade in the fall?
A booster dose of tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis (Tdap) is required by NC Law for individuals attending public school who are entering the sixth grade in the fall of 2013. Tdap protects from Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis.
The Richmond County Health Department will have clinics at the following schools from the hours of 2 to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, April 30 Washington Street Elementary School
Thursday, May 2 East Rockingham Elementary School
Wednesday, May 8 L.J. Bell Elementary School
Tuesday, May 14 West Rockingham Elementary School
Wednesday, May 15 Mineral Springs Elementary School
Thursday, May 16 Monroe Avenue Elementary School
Tuesday, May 21 Fairview Heights Elementary School
Due to the fact that the State of North Carolina is not furnishing free vaccine this year to everyone, the following information is required of anyone wishing to obtain the vaccine:
An adult must accompany the child AND bring one of the following cards:
o Medicaid Card
o Medicare Card
o Private or Group Medical Insurance Card
o NC Health Choice Card
